FIELD SURVEY PROCESS

We provide field measurements, ADA compliance surveys, concept drawings, removal of old lockers, and installation of new lockers.

​

At the request of a Grainger Account Manager, The Thomas Companies will schedule and perform a field survey for the client.

​

The Survey will include: listening and taking notes as to the client's ideas, intentions, and particular requirements.

​

During the site visit, field measurements will be taken as well as an existing product assessment, should the client wish to re-use or repurpose existing equipment and products.

​

After the site visit a survey report will be delivered to the Grainger account manager to share with their client. This report will include our understanding of the client's wants and needs, product recommendations, and a CONCEPT drawing to help illustrate the overall plan that we propose to meet their requirements.

The concept drawing is for illustration and can act as a working drawing, and can be easily changed in response to the client's review and comments.

​

Grainger can provide qualified quotes for the new products, drawings from the manufacturers, estimated freight costs, and installation services provided by The Thomas Companies.

​

Detailed APPROVAL drawings will then be provided by the individual product manufacturers for the client's final review and acceptance.
